The Forge, 12 Windsor Rd Kalk Bay, Cape Town
is a weekend experience in which we will explore
the relationship between our inner masculine and feminine. When this relationship becomes alive and conscious in us, it dramatically opens up our experience of life, and takes our external relationships to another level.
I have rearranged
the weekend so that it now consists of two experiences. You can come to
the one and not
the other. If you want to make a commitment to
the deepening of your inner love affair, I strongly suggest you do both days.
Male-Female Meeting: The dance
Saturday 6 September 10 am - 6pm
Come join me for 6 hours of dance and movement exploration around
the theme of masculine-feminine meeting.
The aim of this day is to explore thoroughly, in our bodies and experience,
the possibilities of masculine and
the feminine in ourselves. Before real inner integration can happen, we first get to know our inner masculine and feminine qualities. For
the first two hours, we dance
the masculine.
The masculine in us expresses qualities such as
focus
direction
presence
strength
The next two hours is an exploration of
the feminine.
The feminine in us expresses qualities such as
responsiveness
sensitivity
love
fluidity
When we have thoroughly explored
the potentials of our masculine and feminine in our bodies through
the dance, we enter
the final two hours of dance in which
the masculine and feminine in us meet.
The method: BlissdanceBlissdance is an expression of Tantra,
the art of aware sexuality. Through guided but free movement and dance, we explore awareness in
the body - following our own authentic impulse, as it rises from
within, meeting space,
the other, existence. We explore love, intimacy, and all
the varying states of being that happen in existence. Tantra is a practice of non-duality - making nothing bad, saying 'yes' to all as that which is. And so we can dance our jealousy as fully as our pure passion, our anger and possessiveness as much as our tenderness and our silence.
The dance is open to all who are on a journey of awareness. No experience needed, and you are welcome to come on your own.
Cost: R600 pp. Remember to bring water; dancing makes you thirsty!

Deepening the Inner Love Affair
Sunday 7 September 9.30 - 5pm
Have you ever paid attention to
the conversation between your inner masculine and feminine aspects? This day's workshop will help you to locate
the voice of your masculine and your feminine, and to hear clearly where
the relationship,
the love affair, between
the two of them is at right now. Once you start to recognize these two voices in you, you can start to deepen
the relationship between them. In any relationship between two people, there are really four people there - your masculine and feminine and those of your partner. Can you see what confusion we can get into if we can't distinguish who is talking to whom? When
the inner love affair deepens, a fulfillment happens in your own life which means that any relationship can be met with abundance rather than lack. We also become significantly more effective in life if we become integrated like this.
The method: Dialogue and Tantric TechniquesWe will go through a step by step guided process to locate
the voices of our inner masculine and feminine aspects, and to hear what
the current conversation is between them.
The rest of
the day will be spent immersing ourselves in
the gift of
the inner love affair through tantric techniques and meditations. These techniques go deep but are suitable for beginners.
